Bactrian Camel (Camelus bactrianus) - info

Bactrian camels are large, even-toed ungulates from the Gobi desert and Mongolian steppes. They have two fatty humps, as opposed to the dromedary camel's single hump. Nearly all bactrian camels are domestic. Their wild counterpart (sometimes referred to as Camelus ferus) is critically endangered.

Other distinguishing features of the bactrian camel is its long, thick coat that protects them from the cold of higher elevations.

Why a bactrian camel? I like their long legs and loping gait. Their shape is really interesting to me, especially the their silhouette when their coat is long. Also, this image might have convinced me:
